Coach Jim Flasch’s thoughts

“Over the years, I’ve seen him mature quite a bit. He was a good golfer as a freshman, but now this year he involves strategy with his game. I see him pick alternate clubs off the tee, he plays the game smart. He’s always had a very level head and that keeps him in the game no matter where he’s at, whether it’s going well or he’s struggling. He always finds a way to get a good streak going again.”

Elliott’s thoughts

“I hit the ball pretty far. My length is probably the best thing about my game. My short game is pretty good and my putting is good.”
