Sam Nielsen improved by six strokes in his second round of action, finishing a stroke behind Morris on the day at 5 over par, to move up into a tie for 71st at 16 over par.

Feb 21 – 22, 2022 Bay Area Invitational

Sam Nielsen had a strong start to the day with three birdies and 12 pars on his way to a 1-over 73, but struggled in the second round to finish at 11 over par in a tie for 53rd on the individual board.

Junior Elliott Nielsen improved his score by one stroke in the final round with 11 pars and a birdie as he tied for 26th with Fry at 15 over par.

Sophomore Sam Nielsen tied Fry for the lowest round of the tournament for the Penguins with a 2-over 72 on his second 18 holes and finished tied for 64th at 24 over par.
