Participated in track and field and cross country at Fond du Lac… named first team all-conference from 2018-20… qualified for state cross country in 2018, 2019, and 2021… 800-meter conference champion in 2019… also indoor state champion in the 800-meter in 2022… qualified for state track and field in the 1600-meter in 2019, the 800-meter in 2019 and 2021, and the 400-meter in 2021… member of National Honor Society… graduated Fond du Lac High School Summa Cum Laude.

The Panthers secured two of the top three spots in the women’s 4x400m relay, as the relay team of Burns, Alexandria Simmons, Leah Handshoe, and Angelica Refinski won in 4:01.20. The squad of Anelise Egge, Rachel Helm, Ally Schmitz, and Cailin Kinas took third in 4:09.08.400 Meter Relay

Feb 24, 2024 Horizon League Indoor Championships
The women’s distance medley relay team of Eileen Tocco, Kortnie Volk, Ally Schmitz, and Cailin Kinas topped the podium with a time of 12:02.90, the third fastest in Milwaukee history. The win marks the second straight year that Milwaukee has topped the podium in the event.
