The Fond du Lac School District announced the hiring of Kevin Flegner as the new Athletic Director at Fond du Lac High School, effective July 1, 2024. Flegner spent six years in the athletic department at Oconomowoc, transitioning it from the now-defunct Wisconsin Little Ten Conference to the Classic Eight Conference. Before his time in Oconomowoc from 2008-2016 he was activities director at Arrowhead High School overseeing a time that brought that high school 24 WIAA Championships across 12 sports. “I am very excited and humbled for this opportunity”, said Flegner. “I would like to thank Dr. Fleig and the Board of Education for the trust as the next athletic director. Fond du Lac is a supportive community and boasts a strong athletic tradition. I am eager to support our student-athletes, mentor our coaches and foster positive ties between the community and alumni.
