Donte Johnson, Devon Krzanowski lead all-VFA South selections
Donte Johnson and Devon Krzanowski highlighted Fond du Lac’s honorees on the all-VFA South Division teams announced recently.
Johnson was named the Defensive Player of the Year in the conference as well as the Defensive Lineman of the Year. The senior lineman was also a unanimous first-team selection on the defensive line.
Krzanowksi was also a unanimous first-team selection for the Cardinals, while senior repeated as the Linebacker of the Year.
Junior defensive end Garrett Sphatt was also a unanimous first-team selection to the all-VFA South defense
Fond du Lac’s first-team offensive selections were senior running back Keon Jefferson, junior tight end Henry Lange and senior offensive lineman Ben Rusch. Rusch was a unanimous selection.
The Cardinals had four second-team selections, including three on the offensive side.
Junior quarterback Jack Cole, senior offensive lineman Tanner Kattre and sophomore offensive lineman Luke Mueller earned the second-team honors along with junior cornerback Jimmie Diener.
Honorable mention honorees for Fond du Lac were seniors Jason Schneider, Sam Fredrickson, Kiefer Thielman, Cal Grebe, Keagan Berandt, Levi Burns, junior Kolton Sabel and sophomore Andrew Stone.
