Madison Memorial    3       FOND DU LAC    1

Fond du Lac boys volleyball played Friday evening at Madison Memorial.  Memorial  won a verytightly contested match 25-14, 26-24, 20-25, 26-24.

Blake Badtke led the Cardinals with 19 kills while Mike Warntjes and Cody Peterson added 6 each.  Jordan Giebel had 31 assists.  Alex Holland led the team with 5 blocks and Grady Rosenthal had 4.  Dawson Wyrobeck had 17 digs.  Cody Peterson and Dawson Wyrobeck each had two aces.

Fond du Lac next plays at Appleton West on Monday.

APPLETON EAST    3      FOND DU LAC   1

Fond du Lac boys volleyball opened up the season against Appleton East Tuesday at the field house in Fond du Lac.  App East won 25-20, 25-19, 17-25, 25-23.

Blake Badtke led the Cardinals with 16 kills while Mike Warntjes added 10.  Jordan Giebel had 36 assists and also led the team with 4 blocks.  Dawson Wyrobeck had 26 digs and  Cody Peterson had two aces.

Fond du Lac next plays at Madison Memorial on Friday.
