Riley Collett won last year’s race with a time of 18:21.96, with Fauske finishing second (18:46.08).
Riley Collett and Anna Fauske separated themselves in the final 200 meters, with Fauske just edging Collett at the finish line. “We gave it our all the whole race. It just comes down to the final 200 meters,” Collett said. “Whatever was left in our legs, we just put it out there and it was a really close race.”
