Sophomore Andrew Stone broke the school record in the shot put at the Kimberly Triangular on Tuesday. Andrew’s record breaking throw of  62′ 4.5″  – breaking the old record by Rick Koeck in 1971 with a throw of  60′ 7 1/4″. Congratulations Andrew Stone !!

The Fond du Lac boys track and field team finished second at a triangular hosted by Kimberly.

The Cardinals scored 61 points as a unit. Kimberly won the meet with 86 points. The Fond du Lac girls scored 24 points to finish third behind meet winner Kimberly (83.5).

Fond du Lac’s Trey Halfmann was victorious in the 100-meter dash (11.29 seconds), while Adam Hopper won the 110-meter hurdles (17.13).

The 4X100-meter relay team of Kyle Marcoe, Eddie Negron, Joe Kuber and Halfmann placed first (44.43), as did the 4X400-meter relay of Halfmann, Zach Schmit, Luke Curran and Marcoe (3:28.82).

Second-place finishers included: Kyle Marcoe (200), Luke Curran (400), Ben Schmitz (800), Hopper (300 hurdles), 4X200 relay, Dylan Sielof (long jump) and Andrew Stone (shot put, discus throw).

On the girls side, Fond du Lac’s Nicole Lord finished second in the 100-meter dash and long jump, while Ally Gietzel was second in the 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash.
