The Fond du Lac boys golf team finished 3rd at the Fox Valley Association meet, held Friday at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.

The Cardinals shot 339 as a squad to come in behind meet winner Kaukauna (312) and Kimberly (330).

With Fond du Lac’s finish on Friday, the Cardinals took third overall in the FVA standings.

Elliott Nielsen was named first team all-conference
