FOND DU LAC – The Fond du Lac boys track and field team dominated the competition en route to a first-place finish at its home quad on Tuesday.
The Cardinals scored 119 points as a unit, easily besting second-place Oshkosh North (59).
Fond du Lac had a variety of individual winners on Tuesday.
Trey Halfmann won the 100-meter dash (11.38 seconds), while Kyle Marcoe was victorious in the 400-meter dash (51.24).
Meanwhile, Ben Schmitz won the 1,600-meter run (4:46.32) and Adam Hopper was first in the 110-meter hurdles (16.21).
Fond du Lac’s 4X100-meter relay team of Eben Sauer, Eddie Negron, Joe Kuber and Adam Cudworth was first (44.53), as was the 4X400-meter relay of Halfmann, Zach Schmit, Luke Curran and Marcoe (3:33.68).
The 4X800-meter relay of Brice Mitchell, Schmit, Connor Linder and Hunter Kollmann won as well (9:12.97).
Alex Tam tied for the first in the pole vault (12-06.00), Zach Walljasper won the long jump (19-10.50) and Cole Seigworth was victorious in the triple jump (39-07.50).
Andrew Stone won both the shot put (60-09.25) and discus throw (165-07).
