Warbirds upset by University School of Milwaukee

FOND DU LAC – The top-seeded Fond du Lac co-op girls hockey team couldn’t get anything going offensively as it fell 2-1 to No. 4 seed University School of Milwaukee co-op in a WIAA sectional semifinal on Tuesday night at Blue Line Family Ice Center.

Gaby Turer and Megan McPike scored for the Wildcats, which were outshot 34-23.

Morgan Brown scored the Warbirds’ lone goal in the second period on assists from Mary Skorupa and Peyton Airaudi.

Rebecca Binder made 21 saves in goal for Fond du Lac co-op.
