Mark Scheibach is the General Manager / Chief Operating Officer of the private Avondale Golf Club in Palm Desert. Prior to joining Avondale, he served as Senior Vice President of Kitson & Partners, a national recognized management company. In this position, he had complete operational and P&L responsibility for all resort and private facilities in the Pacific Region; including California, Hawaii & Arizona. In this position, Mark also provided oversight on the redevelopment of the Prince Course and the Makai Golf Club at the Princeville Resort along with the re-launching of the Mauna Kea Resort. A major focus of Mark’s responsibility was comprehensive Membership Development and Marketing programs for various clubs. Mark began his career with the PGA of America and then transitioned to the Club Managers Association of America and has donated countless hours to various junior golf programs and “Grow the Game” initiatives in CA, HI, and in his native Wisconsin. A former two-time Big Ten Champion as a member of the University of Wisconsin golf team, Mark competed in PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Canadian Tour events while winning 30+ mini-tour events nationwide before entering the business side of the business. Mark and his wife, Laura, reside in La Quinta.

Mark Scheibach has served in leadership roles in the golf industry for the past 15 years. Mr. Scheibach previously served as Vice President of Golf Development for Heritage Links International, LLC. The golf courses Heritage Links has been associated with have been some of the best known and most recognizable in the world. Scheibach was responsible for the entire Management Division which includes full facility management, maintenance and consulting; including the Princeville Prince Golf Club in Kauai, Hawaii. Scheibach also served as Senior Vice President of Kitson & Partners Club Services; where he oversaw all facilities and business development in the Pacific Region; including Hawaii, California & Arizona. In this position, Mark provided oversight of the renovation of the Makai Golf Club at Princeville with the Robert Trent Jones II team and had operation and maintenance responsibility for two courses ranked in Golf Digest’s “Top 100” in the United States; the Princeville Prince Golf Club and the Mauna Kea Resort. During his tenure with Kitson & Partners, Mark was responsible for five additional management contracts in the Hawaiian Islands; making Kitson & Partners the leader in the Hawaiian golf industry. In addition, Scheibach was involved in the master planning, due diligence and membership development of numerous projects in the Pacific Region. Dedication to the industry and an array of experience is the cornerstone of Scheibach’s career in the golf industry.

Mr. Scheibach served as Partner in Akcess Hawaii, a provider of premier resort lifestyle club services and experiences to an exclusive membership in the Hawaiian Islands. He was responsible for securing the golf course agreements at the targeted participating golf courses on five islands in Hawaii including courses ranked amongst the top ten courses in the Hawaiian Islands.

Mr. Scheibach’s experience also includes Indian Palms Country Club & Resort, where he started as the Head Golf Professional and was promoted to General Manager. While at Indian Palms, Mark redesigned all 27 holes of the historic course, oversaw all hotel and food & beverage operations, helped develop over 1200+ new homes with six different developers, served on the Master Marketing team and was Vice President of the Homeowners Association Board. In addition, Scheibach was instrumental in the development of the long range plan for Indian Palms which included a new timeshare project.

Mark Scheibach-Aloha Golf Card Managing Partner Mark Scheibach has served in leadership roles in the golf industry for the past 15 years including senior management positions with Rubicon Golf, Heritage Links International and Kitson & Partners Club Services, where he was in charge of all activities and day-to-day operations in the Pacific Region; including eight golf facilities on the Hawaiian Islands. His responsibilities included the development and operation of three clubhouse construction and operational projects in addition to overseeing the renovation of the Princeville Prince Golf Club and the Makai Golf Club. Mr. Scheibach’s experience also includes Indian Palms Country Club & Resort, where he started as the Head Golf Professional and was promoted to General Manager. While at Indian Palms, Mark redesigned all 27 holes of the historic desert course, oversaw all hotel and food & beverage operations, helped develop over 1200+ new homes with six different developers, served on the Master Marketing team and was Vice President of the Homeowners Association Board. In addition, Scheibach was instrumental in the development of the long range plan for Indian Palms which included a new timeshare project and other lodging alternatives. Mr. Scheibach is Managing Partner of Rubicon Golf, LLC, the majority owner of Aloha Golf Card, LLC.

Mr. Scheibach began his career with the PGA of America and then transitioned to the Club Managers Association of America and has donated countless hours to various junior golf programs and “Grow the Game” initiatives in CA, HI, and in his native Wisconsin. A former two-time Big Ten Champion as a member of the University of Wisconsin golf team, Mark competed in PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Canadian Tour events while winning 30+ mini-tour events nationwide before entering the business side of the business. Currently, Mr. Scheibach competes in various state and local tournaments and is a highly ranked amateur player.
