Jeff Kleinke named GM at Auburn Bluffs
New Auburn Bluffs golf course owners Boyd and Vicki Stoffel have hired Jeff Kleinke as General Manager to oversee all operations. He has more than 24 years of experience working in the golf business and will be a great addition to the Campbellsport, Wisconsin course.
Kleinke was born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where he attended Goodrich High School and graduated from Marian University. He started his professional career in 1997 working in Northern Wisconsin at St. Germain Golf Club. He then went on to positions at Rio Verde Country Club in Arizona, Rolling Meadows in Fond du Lac, and most recently as the Director of Golf at The Golf Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake, Wisconsin. There for the past 12 years, he managed the daily golf course operations at the 36-hole resort course as well as overseeing the food and beverage operations in the restaurant.
When asked what intrigues Kleinke most about working in the business, he replied it’s the people from all walks of life he gets to meet on a day-to-day basis. “We’re in the entertainment business in the golf industry and it’s very important that people feel welcomed and have a great time while they’re here.”
Kleinke encourages people to get out and learn the game of golf, “because it’s a game you can play the rest of your life, while meeting new people and enjoying nature. It’s never too late to start.”
