2017 Fond du Lac Softball Preseason
Fond du Lac first-year coach Adam Rushing is hoping his Cardinals can be competitive in what’s expected to be a very tough Fox Valley Association this spring.
The Cardinals lose No. 1 pitcher Andra O’Brien as well as Taylor Rushing from the 2016 team, but Adam Rushing pointed out a number of players who are back.
First team All-FVA designated player Megan Elford, a junior, returns, as does sophomore Kellie Hierl (honorable mention All-FVA utility player) and senior Crystal Koch (honorable mention All-FVA catcher).
“I expect the entire team to step up this season and work harder than ever before,” Rushing said.
