Sophomore Andrew Stone broke his school record set last week in the shot put with a 63’ 1/2” throw at the Fond du Lac Triangular on Tuesday. Last week Andrew’s record breaking throw of  62′ 4.5″  – broke the old record by Rick Koeck in 1971 with a throw of  60′ 7 1/4″. Congratulations Andrew Stone !!

Fond du Lac boys track wins home quad

FOND DU LAC – The Fond du Lac boys track and field team took first place at its home quadrangular on Tuesday evening, scoring 129 points as a unit.

The Cardinals easily bested Hortonville (55), Neenah (51) and Appleton West (36). Fond du Lac had a number of individual winners on Tuesday.

Trey Halfmann won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.46 seconds and was also first in the 200-meter dash (22.95).

Kyle Marcoe won the 400-meter dash (51.45)

Noah Tagliapietra took first in both the 800-meter run (1:59.69) and 1,600-meter run (4:32.92).

Adam Hopper won the 110-meter hurdles (17.10) and 300-meter hurdles (44.88)

The  4X100-meter relay team of Eben Sauer, Eddie Negron, Joe Kuber and Adam Cudworth (45.00) took first.

The 4X400-meter relay of Halfmann, Zach Schmit, Luke Curran and Marcoe (3:29.92) also took first.

Eddie Negron won the long jump (19-11.00) and triple jump (41-02.00)

Andrew Stone was victorious in both the shot put (63-00.50) and discus throw (152-05).
